ADHD and Behavior

People with ADHD, or Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, often have trouble getting organized, staying focused, making realistic plans and thinking before acting. They may be fidgety, impulsive, and slow to adapt to changing situations. Children with ADHD can be socially inept or appear defiant. There are also many positive aspects of ADHD, which are not always readily apparent, but are an important part of the total picture.

There are many other conditions that can look like ADHD, so it is important to get an accurate diagnosis. At Psych Arizona, we will conduct a thorough evaluation and review of your child’s behavioral issues and develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. There are a variety of treatment options for ADHD. Together, we will help you find the one that is right for you.
